Overview

Mending Plates reimagines steel reinforcement plates with predrilled holes as three-dimensional, hand-friendly toys. Inspired by their original shapes, I merged, divided, and trimmed them to create more complex forms that encourage playful exploration, constructive thinking, and hands-on interaction. Adapted from metal to lightweight wood, the pieces are tactile, approachable, and designed for playful engagement.
